I am Alan O’Connor – a family man with 3 beautiful granddaughters and my life largely revolves around spending as much time as possible with them and watching Manchester United. 11 years into my 2nd marriage I have 5 adult children between us, and love to travel whenever the opportunity arises and always looking for new destinations.

I’m currently enjoying my role as Sales Manager.

Workflo are always up to date with latest tech and software, recently deploying the UTAX Scanner Vison software for many companies in the Greater Manchester Area. This innovative scanner means documents can be captured from any source, email, paper, email, mobiles and more.

The system is so powerful because it can be designed to integrate with your existing systems, SAGE, etc, bi-directionally so inputting and finding your information saves your staff valuable time & resources. Users can now place multiple mixed documents in a print/scan device’s ‘doc-feeder’, press ‘GO’ and the scanner will then read & identify each document and store it in the relevant file/folder. This could be Dropbox, Google Cloud Storage such as Dropbox or Google Drive, or a Document Management System such as SharePoint, Docu-Ware or NetDocuments.

Our ideal client is a business that knows they need to modernise their approach and let us take them on a digital transformation of their office environment. The end goal is to have a paperless office, that allows staff to find documents in seconds. We primarily deal with SME’s but are being to work with more public sector organisations such ad schools, colleges and the NHS who may be still be utilising archaic processes and know that in the age of data consent and GDPR that they have to evolve or risk a hefty fine.
